Hendricks Power Invites Community to Support Local Lineworkers at the Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo

Avon, Ind. –  Hendricks Power invites community members to come cheer on their hometown lineworkers as they showcase their skills at the Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo. The rodeo will be held at the Hendricks Co. 4-H  Fairgrounds on August 21st and 22nd.

The exciting two-day event celebrates the dedication, safety, and technical expertise of electric cooperative lineworkers from across the state. Attendees can watch skilled linemen compete in timed events like pole climbing, hurt man rescue, and safely changing electric line hardware - the same critical tasks they perform daily to power their community. A total of 35 teams and 131 individuals from 26 Indiana electric cooperatives will compete in this year’s event.
