HENDRICKS POWER HOSTS ANNUAL MEETING & MEMBER APPRECIATION EVENT
Members invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, fair food vouchers, and bill credit drawings at the Hendricks Co. 4-H Fair

Avon, IN — On July 17, 2025, Hendricks Power will host its Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Event at the Hendricks County 4-H Fair from 11 am – 7 pm.

Cooperative members are invited to enjoy a day of family-friendly activities at the fair, including a live line safety demonstration, Silly Safaris animal shows, face painting, balloon animals, an electric vehicle demonstration, and fair food vouchers.

Cooperative members received an invitation by email or mail that contained a pass for free admission to the fair.  In-person voting will be available from 11 am – 6  pm. All voting members will be eligible to receive $10 in fair food vouchers by visiting the Sponsor of the Day Pavilion from 11 am – 7 pm. Admission pass and food vouchers are valid on July 17, only.

Hendricks Power voters will be entered to win one of eight $200 energy credits or one of two $500 energy credits for those attending the business meeting at 6:30 pm in the Hendricks Power Expo Hall at the fairgrounds.

Members are encouraged to attend the business meeting for annual cooperative updates and the announcement of the energy credit winners.

Candidates for the Hendricks Power Board of Directors are as follows:

Area 3  :           Matt Hession, Incumbent


The event is geared towards members of the co-op; however, some events are also open to the public. Below is a schedule of events for the day:

11 am – 7 pm:              Vote for $10 in Fair Food Vouchers
11 am – 6 pm:              Vote for the Board of Directors
2 pm:                           High Voltage Safety Demonstration (open to the public)

3 & 4:30 pm:                Silly Safaris Animal shows (open to the public)
      Entertainment Stage
4 pm:                           Electric Vehicle Demonstration (open to the public)
      Adjacent to the Sponsor of the Day Pavilion
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm:   Balloon Animals and Face Painting (open to the public)

In 2024, more than 1,900 members participated in the board of directors election and more than 1,000 joined the cooperative at the Hendricks Co. 4-H Fair.
