HENDRICKS LIVE! IN PLAINFIELD

PLAINFIELD, IN (Dec. 16, 2025) – Hendricks Live! in downtown Plainfield is excited to welcome GRAMMY® award-winning and multi-platinum selling rock band Soul Asylum in a rare acoustic set on Wednesday, April 8th. The Soul Asylum Acoustic performance is part of the Spring 2026 season presented by Hendricks County Bank and Trust and supported by Hendricks Regional Health. 


Tickets for Soul Asylum Acoustic go on sale this Friday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m at hendrickslive.org/events.


Soul Asylum started as Minneapolis’ punk younger brothers to the Replacements and Husker Dü. Their 1992 breakthrough album, Grave Dancer’s Union, featured the international hits “Runaway Train,” “Black Gold,” and “Somebody to Shove.” “Runaway Train” won a GRAMMY®, and its music video brought nearly two dozen missing and exploited children and teens around the world home to their families.


Soul Asylum has released 12 original albums, including multiple live albums and assorted Greatest Hits collections.


This upcoming show offers a rare opportunity to see Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner and Ryan Smith in a unique and intimate setting.


So far, the Hendricks Live! 2026 season includes:

  • Jim Messina* - Known for songs such as “Stay in the Night,” “House at Pooh Corner,” and “Your Mama Don't Care,” Jim Messina will be performing songs from his entire career: Saturday, March 21
  • Soul Asylum Acoustic* See Soul Asylum’s Dave Pirner and Ryan Smith perform an intimate, one-of-a-kind acoustic set: Wednesday, April 8
  • Classic Seger: Rock & Roll Never Forgets 2026 Live - Relive the magic of timeless hits and classic rock anthems in an unforgettable night of Rock & Roll, featuring classic Bob Seger songs: Thursday, April 9
  • Carrie Newcomer* The American singer, songwriter, and author has produced 19 solo CDs and has received numerous awards for her music: Friday, April 10
  • Dirty Deeds - The AC/DC Experience* - Celebrate the thunderous energy of the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson era with a power-packed performance that takes you on a journey through the story that is AC/DC: Saturday, April 25

  • Music of the Silver Screen Hear some of John Williams’ most famous hits from movies like Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark: February 13+15

Hendricks Civic Theatre Presents:

  • Puffs A Hilarious and Heartfelt Show that takes a Classic Story to New Places: Feb. 27-March 8
  • The Phantom Tollbooth - A Children’s Classic Brought to Life on Stage: May 1-10
  • Anastasia Based on the book by Terrence McNally, with music and lyrics by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens: July 31-Aug. 9
