Annual Celebrating Avon Festival at the Avon Library
Avon, IN— All are welcome at the Annual Celebrating Avon Festival at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library (A-WTPL)! This free, family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, 11 a.m.—3 p.m. both inside and outside of the library. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. sharp with the ceremonial “Ringing of the Bell.” The privilege of ringing the bell is awarded to the winner of our Annual Bookmark Design Contest. This year the winner is Shay Beutler! Immediately following the kick-off is a special groundbreaking ceremony on the adjacent lawn. A-WTPL is excited to break ground on the construction of new meeting rooms, made possible by the generous donation of Joyce Marie Huron Trent. Her kindness and support of the library will continue to inspire and uplift the community for many years to come.
